Ana María J. Wiseman, se recibió con una Licenciatura en traducción en holandés, inglés, francés y español de la Universidad de Amberes en Bélgica. Obtuvo el DML de Middlebury College en 1996. Fue Decana de Estudios Internacionales y profesora de Lenguas Extranjeras en Wofford College en Carolina del Sur. Su experiencia docente incluye cursos de lengua, literatura y cine, tanto como de traducción e interpretación. Sus actividades profesionales reflejan su interés en las nuevas tecnologías para la enseñanza e incluyen ponencias y talleres sobre el uso didáctico de las nuevas tecnologías. Ana María es co-autora de iSpeak Spanish Verbs, un programa para que permite el aprendizaje y la práctica de la congujación de verbos. Ha trabajado en el campo de estudios internacionales durante más de 30 años. Actualmente está preparando un proyecto de formación de profesores de los programas de estudios internacionales que se encuentran tanto en Europa como en Asia, África y Latinoamérica.
Ana María J. Wiseman, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina to Dutch parents, received her degree in Translation from the State University of Antwerp, Belgium in Dutch, English, Spanish and French. She obtained the Doctor of Modern Languages degree in Spanish and French from Middlebury College in 1996. She served as Dean of International Programs as well as Associate Professor of Foreign Languages at Wofford College. Dr. Wiseman’s teaching experience includes courses in language, literature, theater and film, and translation and interpretation. Her professional activities reflect her interest in educational technology, and include papers and work-shops on the instructional use of technology. She is co-author of iSpeak Spanish Verbs, a program intended to help students understand and practice Spanish verb conjugations. Dr. Wiseman has worked in the field of international education for 30 years and has served on the academic boards of several study abroad organizations. She is co-author of The IES Abroad MAP for Language & Intercultural Communication. She currently offers international faculty development opportunities for instructors around the world.
